Los Angeles– Singer-songwriter Dylan Garcia has been on a musical journey that has guided him through difficult life passages and challenges. His songs are a reflection of his life, so it is appropriate his newest creation, “Reflection of my Imperfection,” is a heart-wrenching and touching album about redemption. It tells a story of a man who has it all and living a good life. But living life in the fast lane catches up to him and he finds himself in a battle for not only his life, but also his soul. With the help of an angel, he fights his way back and finds relevance in his life once again.
Garcia’s “Reflection of my Imperfection,” an inspirational album, will finally be available for streaming/download on various streaming services starting on June 22, 2018. Beginning June 15th, the album will be available for pre-order on iTunes, Spotify, Tidal, and more worldwide. This project is being distributed by Freedom Over Fear Creative Group.
As a songwriter and a true artist, Dylan has always been motivated to be original and creative. He is achieving this through crafting his own signature style of music. In 2005, he was a 20-something living out all of his dreams. He was college educated, had a great job, and on the rise when his dreams came crashing down when he began to fell ill. Something weird was happening, His brain was playing games on him, and it kept on until he had no control over it. He soon discovered that what was happening with his mind and all the voices he was hearing was a serious mental illness. This illness came out of no where. Dylan faced his new reality with great courage and received the help and treatments he needed. But it wasn’t easy. It was painful, disheartening and the hardest challenge he has ever encountered and overcome. In the process, he found that music was key to his recovery and he kept at it, writing songs, a lot of songs. GRAMMY nominated-producer, Ronny King, took notice, impressed with Garcia’s songwriting and unique music style, began to work with him.
