MUNDOFLIX, the new SVOD (Subscription – Video on Demand) video streaming service has partnered with Oro Entertainment to distribute Viva America, a variety special written by and starring Maria Costa. Viva America, which debuts on October 20, 2017, captures the best of this multi-talented actress, writer and comedic dramatist. In addition, MUNDOFLIX will also distribute Costa’s docu-series which will follow her every move while on her national comedy tour.

Some of Costa’s characters include: ‘Marisol’ a Cubana who is experiencing freedom after years of being married to a man who cheated and mistreated her; ‘Linda’ a conservative soccer mom from the Midwest who believes in an ‘English Only America’ and ‘Gigi’ a Puerto Rican spitfire who thinks her native island should vote for independence. Costa leaves no stone unturned as she also discusses her mixed-race background (half Hungarian and half Cuban), growing up in Detroit.
Viva America, directed by Rick Najera (writer – Oveture Film’s Nothing Like the Holidays, Netflix East Los High, Fox’s Madd TV and In Living Color), debuts on MUNDOFLIX on October 20, 2017 and Costa’s docu-series is set to rollout in early 2018.
