Los Angeles, CA — The Latino Scene Showcase, presented by the National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC) and the Los Angeles Theater Center, aims to infuse Latino writers and actors into the entertainment industry. The showcase features scenes written by the following NHMC TV Writers Program alumni:
Sabrina Almeida
Rick Dominguez
Maria Escobedo
Chris Garcia
Eugene Garcia-Cross
Frank Nestor
Alex Perez
The scenes are performed by Latino actors before an audience of television network executives, casting directors, producers, agents and managers.
Interested actors can submit their picture and resume electronically via www.actorsaccess.com by June 28th (search by “2016 Latino Scene Showcase”). Auditions will take place July 15-16 and callbacks are July 22-23. For more information please visit www.nhmc.org/latinosceneshowcase.
Selected actors will perform in the NHMC and Los Angeles Theater Center the 4th annual Latino Scene Showcase on November 9, 2016, presented at El Portal Theater in North Hollywood, CA. The showcase will highlight talented Latino writers and actors, and provide the opportunity for industry professionals to discover diverse talent.
