On January 24, 2015 SBS’s Calibash 2015 live concert returns for its 7th edition and once again it is all brought to you by SBS Entertainment and AEG Live with MEGA 96.3FM as the official radio station at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Tickets will be available for purchase at www.axs.com. The line up is top tier with performances by Pitbull, Don Omar, Carlos Vives, Wisin, Tego Calderon, Plan B, J.Alvarez, Farruko,Gente De Zona, Maluma & 3 Ball MTY.
For seven years Calibash has been bringing top Latin music acts along with a selection of the most familiar emerging artists to its target audience, the young, bilingual Latino makes Calibash a leading Latin urban music concert.

Spotlight on performers:
Pitbull, “Mr. 305” or “Mr. Worldwide” is undoubtedly the most popular Latin artist worldwide. He has sold millions of albums and his duets with big-name artists have put him atop music charts internationally.
Don Omar became one of reggaeton’s first international superstars thanks to “Reggaeton Latino,” his 2005 anthem that became one of the genre’s first genuine crossover hits.
Carlos Vives rescued one of the most representative music expressions of his native Colombia. In 2012 he released the first single from the album ” Corazón Profundo,” in less than a year, it was honored by the Latin Grammy Awards among a multitude of other awards.
Tego Calderón is a Puerto Rican singer/songwriter and one of the main figures and pioneers of the reggaeton and Latin hip hop early movement. You can’t talk about the genre without talking about his work.
Wisin is a successful singer of reggaeton and Latin pop. In music he is known for being half of Wisin & Yandel, the biggest urban music duet in history.
Plan B are a young Puerto Rican group that began their career in the year 2000. Their first production, “El Mundo de PLAN B,” managed to sell more than 50,000 copies, achieving their first gold record and positioning them at a competitive top in the genre.
J Alvarez was born in Puerto Rico. His inspiration in music was rooted in English language hip-hop with groups such as A Tribe Called Quest and Busta Rhymes. He has become the first artist of the new generation with highly successful online sales, managing to conquer various countries in Latin America.
Farruko is a Puerto Rican reggaeton singer who made his debut at age 18 as a soloist with the album El Talento Del Bloque in 2010. He has collaborated with artists such as José Feliciano, Daddy Yankee, Don Omar; and has been regarded by critics as a musical phenomenon, thanks to his great musical versatility.
3BallMTY has managed to break cultural barriers, paradigms and genres; in a short time, they have become the most important exponents and genuine representatives of the “Tribal generation”. 3BALLMTY is composed of Erick Rincon, DJ Otto and Sheeqo Beat.
Gente de Zona is one of the most famous groups of Cuban Reggaeton, with many fans in and outside of the island. Downloads of their music have broken records. The group has an explosive sound, in which the power of Reggaeton does not hide the strong influence of Afro-Cuban rhythms.
Maluma was born in Medellin, Colombia. Known as the “little giant of reggaeton,” his music recordings has been praised by important producers in the music genre.
