Vanessa Marquez (Stand and Deliver, Blood In, Blood Out, Melrose Place, ER) was shot and killed when the police was summoned to her home to check on a distraught and disabled woman, allegedly pulled out a “BB-type” gun, causing an officer to open fire in response, according to police.

“A welfare check by the South Pasadena Police Department Thursday turned fatal when the distraught and disabled woman officers were checking on allegedly pulled out a “BB-type” gun, causing an officer to open fire in response, according to police.”
