Jaramillo Returns to the Small Screen for the “Ripped From-the-Headlines” Season Finale of ABC’s Notorious

Antonio Jaramillo guest stars on the upcoming episode of Notorious, airing Thursday, December 8th (10:00-11:00 p.m. EST), on the ABC Television Network. When Julia (Piper Perabo) is mistakenly taken hostage by Mexican cartel leader Carlos Mora (guest star Antonio Jaramillo), Jake (Daniel Sunjata) and LHL take extreme measures to ensure her safe return. Mora says he will release her and a fellow journalist if she produces an interview that would advance his propaganda.
Jaramillo makes his return to the small screen in the episode titled Taken after his breakthrough performance as Miguel Zepeda, opposite Jennifer Lopez, in the hit NBC series, Shades of Blue. When asked how he feels about being cast in the role of a Mexican drug lord, Jaramillo responded: “The challenge is to find appealing qualities in these types of characters and humanize them. I look deeper into the role to find the man’s intelligence, humor and empathy if any. I try to add personal moments of joy and sadness that we all can relate to.”
