Los Angeles, CA – After playing the role of “Vanessa Cruz” on the NBC’s hit show The Blacklist, Mexican actress Ana de la Reguera is back on television in the second season of Jane The Virgin starring Gina Rodriguez and Mexican actor Jaime Camil.
De la Reguera will play Paola, Rogelio de la Vega’s new assistant with a secret past that will be revealed during the third episode of the character’s arc. Rumor has it that De la Reguera had replaced Kate del Castillo role. However, that is not the case as del Castillo originally played Rogelio de la Vega’s ex-wife in the series.
On De La Reguera’s first day of shooting Camil and Rodriguez welcomed her by posting pictures of themselves on social media and their new guest star on the set.
De La Reguera makes her debut on Jane the Virgin this coming Monday, February 29th at 9:00pm on the CW.
