Roberto Perez Charged with Expanding Carriage and Market Penetration for Alterna’TV Channel Partners
Miami, FL – Alterna’TV, has announced the appointment of Roberto Perez as Senior Director, Marketing and Distribution, for the United States, Canada and Mexico.
As Senior Director, Marketing and Distribution for the U.S., Canada and Mexico, Perez will be responsible for increasing carriage and enhancing market penetration for the suite of channels and networks represented by Alterna’TV in North America and Mexico.

Perez joins Alterna’TV after serving as a Retention Consultant for DirecTV in El Segundo, CA. Prior to this, he was Director of Marketing at Comcast, a post he held since 2010. Based in Philadelphia, Perez focused his efforts on developing and executing Comcast’s Hispanic marketing strategy across three divisions and in 16 regions nationwide. Previously, Perez worked as a Multicultural Marketing Strategist for Cox Communications (2007 to 2010) where, in addition to increasing brand value perception, he was responsible for developing bundling strategies and driving VOD penetration.
Alterna’TV is a subsidiary of leading satellite service provider Eutelsat Americas, Alterna’TV distributes their multiple channels to its carriage partners which include DISH, DirecTV, Comcast and Time Warner Cable, Verizon Fios, AT&T U-Verse, Charter and RCN as well as MegaCable, and UNE.
