Alejandro Iñárritu & Gina Rodriguez Repeat Golden Globe Nominees

The day started off bright and early as the 2016 Golden Globe nominations were announced by America Ferrera, Dennis Quaid, Angela Bassett and Chloë Grace Moretz.  The Golden Globes will take place on January 10, 2015 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Among the 2016 Golden Globe nominees were were Alejandro Iñárritu as Best Director for his much talked about film The Revenant which is also nominated for Best Motion Picture; Netflix’s Narcos, with its almost all Latino cast is nominated for Best TV Series Drama. And speaking of drama congrats to American Crime and all the actors (including Johny Ortiz, Benito Martinez, and Emmy nominee Richard Cabral).

Last year’s winner in the Best Actress in a TV Series, Comedy category, Gina Rodriguez is a repeat nominee, going for her second Golden Globe for her role in Jane the Virgin! Gael Garcia Bernal is nominated in the Best Actor in a TV Series, Comedy for his role in Mozart in the Jungle. Oscar Isaac is nominated for his work in Show Me a Hero under the Best Actor in a Limited-Series or TV Movie.
